MIGRANTOPOLY

MIGRANTOPOLY
is a Monopoly-style board game that parallels the history of U.S. immigration law with the U.S. gross domestic product to demonstrate how the national economy has grown through migrant labor. The game is presented on the street to inform participants, gather interviews and workshop ideas for new immigration policies to be submitted to elected representatives and presented on social networks. Participants are also invited to share their migrant histories. Listen to ongoing interviews -  HTML Playlist

MIGRANTOPOLY is supported by Social Practice CUNY, NYSCA, The Action Lab and 2025 public presentations are produced by the Korea Art Forum as part of the public art series Shared Dialogue, Shared Space.
