{"id":1138,"date":"2016-09-24T14:27:04","date_gmt":"2016-09-24T21:27:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ambriente.com\/blog\/?p=1138"},"modified":"2016-09-24T14:27:04","modified_gmt":"2016-09-24T21:27:04","slug":"pixars-luxo-jr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ambriente.com\/blog\/2016\/09\/24\/pixars-luxo-jr\/","title":{"rendered":"Pixar&#8217;s Luxo Jr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For nearly a year, October 8, 2015 through September 11, 2016, the Cooper Hewitt Museum had a couple rooms dedicated to a Pixar exhibition &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperhewitt.org\/events\/current-exhibitions\/pixar-the-design-of-story-4\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cPixar: The Design of Story&#8221;.<\/a>  The exhibition featured drawings depicting the conceptualization and development of various Pixar films, such as \u201cInside Out\u201d.  One small room was dedicated to Pixar\u2019s initial animated short \u201cLuxo Jr.\u201d &#8211; the animation featuring the desk lamp that went on to be incorporated into Pixar\u2019s production logo.  In the gallery, the animated short is screened and the film is accompanied by documents that portray the development of the film from the animation\u2019s script &#8211; merely a list of actions and three storyboards.
